Since its establishment in 2006, Atlas Seeds has not only aimed to be a leading company in the industry but also focused on responding quickly to the needs and demands of farmers and industrialists. In addition to this goal, it has actively participated in the search for unique plant varieties, guided by an innovative approach. In 2015, Atlas Seeds completed the establishment of its R&D department, which is rapidly working to provide effective solutions for different geographies and various demands, ensuring these innovative solutions are applied in the right fields. Today, with the results of its efforts, Atlas Seeds has the infrastructure to meet both its own needs and serve industry stakeholders through licensing.

The R&D activities conducted by Atlas Seeds are supported by both TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and the company's own resources. Since 2018, three R&D projects supported by TÜBİTAK have been successfully completed. As a result of these projects, two wheat varieties and one soybean variety have been registered.

Both with the TÜBİTAK projects and through the company's own research, scientific developments are continuously followed with the consultancy of some of Turkey's leading breeders in the field. Atlas Seeds has adapted to the innovations brought by the times, utilizing Marker-Assisted Selection (MAS) Technology and Generation Skipping Technology. These technological solutions create differentiation and accelerate the breeding processes.

The breeding studies are conducted by plant breeders, who are experts in their fields, combined with the experiences of the company's highly skilled technical team. These studies focus on essential elements such as yield, quality, and adaptation. At the same time, human health and ecological values are carefully considered, with continuous efforts in field crops and vegetable breeding.

Under its on-site breeding objectives, Atlas Seeds operates 3 permanent R&D stations in Adana, Konya, and Mersin, along with several temporary R&D trial fields in different geographic regions. Vegetables and field crop breeding are carried out within the company by our experienced team.

With its expert team, Atlas Seeds not only conducts breeding work for its own product groups but also provides R&D support to industry organizations.
